Kaia Gerber has mirrored her supermodel mother Cindy Crawford in a new campaign for Givenchy, despite insisting she inherited her figure from her father.

Kaia Gerber was the double of Cindy Crawford , 60, as she posed in a black cut-out bodysuit and flowery thigh-high boots for Givenchy's winter 2026 campaign

The 24 year old modelled a black cut out bodysuit and flowery thigh high boots for the French fashion house's winter 2026 collection. The photographs, which were shot in Croatia, bear a striking resemblance to Crawford's 1992 fitness video, Shape Of Your Body, in which she wore a black leotard.

Ms Gerber, 24 – whose father is businessman Rande Gerber – has been open on her feelings of being a nepo baby , saying: 'I've always been compared against my mom (Cindy in 1990)

The Givenchy campaign was overseen by creative director Sarah Burton, the British designer best known for creating the Princess of Wales' wedding dress in 2011.

While fans often highlight the visual similarities between the pair, Gerber says she did not inherit her 60 year old mother's famous curves. Her father is the businessman Rande Gerber, with whom the pair were photographed in April.

Speaking to The Sunday Times, the model and actress discussed the constant comparisons to her mother. She has previously acknowledged her status as a "nepo baby", a term for children of celebrities who benefit from nepotism.

"I've always been compared against my mom," Gerber said. "I'm so jealous of mom's body. I would have loved to be born with boobs and a butt."

Red carpet homage

Gerber followed Crawford into the fashion industry and has walked runways around the world. She is also building an acting career, recently starring in the television series Palm Royale.

The pictures, taken in Croatia, are reminiscent of her supermodel mother's 1992 photo shoot, when she wore a black leotard for her Shape Of Your Body fitness video

Last September, Gerber paid tribute to her mother at the Toronto International Film Festival by wearing the same white Hervé Léger bandage dress Crawford wore to the 1993 Academy Awards.

And while fans are frequently stunned by the pair's striking resemblance to each other, Kaia has insisted that she takes after her father, Rande Gerber, when it comes to her figure (Kaia, Rande and Cindy seen in April)

Crawford had attended the Oscars with the actor Richard Gere. The couple were married between 1991 and 1995.

Gerber wore the dress to the premiere of her film Shell, matching Crawford's original styling with a diamond necklace, white heels and dangling earrings.

However, Gerber felt the dress highlighted the physical differences between them.

"I also recreated my mom's white Hervé Léger dress and wore it to a film festival last year, but my mom is built very differently than I am and she looked so sexy in it," she told the newspaper.

"She has these beautiful boobs and a butt, and I was given my father's body, which I'm grateful for, but it's giving something different."

Wardrobe theft

While they may not share the same figure, Gerber said she has inherited a wealth of fashion knowledge from her mother.

She cited Crawford's appearance on the Freedom! '90 Versace runway alongside Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell and Christy Turlington as an image that is "so ingrained in my mind".

Gerber also shared the most valuable style advice she received from the 1990s icon.

"I learnt from my mom that less is more, like, before you leave the house take one thing off," she said. "I'm not an accessories person."

The shared interest in fashion extends to Crawford's personal archive, with Gerber admitting she has taken items from her mother's wardrobe.

"I have stolen some things from my mom that I don't wear much but don't want to give back," she said.

The pair do not share a shoe size, but Gerber did manage to secure one significant designer piece.

"Devastatingly, we're not the same shoe size, but I stole a black leather Alaïa coat from her when I was 15 and I'm holding on to that for dear life," she added.
