Kelly Brook showed off her curves as she modelled her latest lingerie collection for Next. The 46-year-old model was named ambassador of the retailer's new fuller-bust lingerie range earlier this year and proved to be her own best advert as she showcased the pieces.
Kelly wore an array of lace trimmed bras and briefs as she worked her angles for the shoot.
In a video promoting the line, Kelly said lingerie has never been about perfection for her. She said it is about confidence, embracing your body and feeling amazing in it, calling it feminine, empowering, effortless and completely your own.
Sharing pictures of the range on Instagram, Kelly added that she cannot believe she still gets to do this in all her glory.
Kelly Brook on hating sexy lingerie in real life
Despite being known for her sizzling shoots, Kelly revealed earlier this year that she hates wearing sexy lingerie to bed. She made the comment during an appearance on Loose Women in May, the ITV daytime panel show, when host Kaye Adams asked her whether the public image of her as a femme fatale was really her.
Kelly said that was not her at all, and that the thought of wearing sexy lingerie to bed did not appeal to her because she preferred to be comfy. When Kaye told her she was lying, Kelly insisted she was not, describing herself as a geek and a frumpy, goofball inside despite how she looks on the outside.
Asked whether that contrast was difficult, Kelly explained it came with the territory of being a model for years, doing lots of lingerie and swimwear work where people look at your body a lot. She said there is an assumption that being a sexy person means always being up for it, and that this is just not the case, adding that she would rather be in her garden with her wellies on. She said it does not bother her and that she actually finds it quite funny, since it is the complete opposite of who she really is.
Turning down a weight-loss jab before I'm A Celebrity
While Kelly is known for her hourglass curves, the Heart Radio presenter has also revealed she was offered a weight-loss jab before heading into the jungle for I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! last year.
Speaking on the How To Fail With Elizabeth Day podcast, Kelly said she was offered Mounjaro, a weight-loss injection, by a doctor just a week before filming, calling it insane. She said she asked the doctor what she needed it for, and he replied that everyone was on it, to which she told him she was not. When she asked about side effects, she said he told her there weren't any.
Kelly said there was a whole conversation about it, but that she does not comply, adding that the doctor knows she does not comply because people try to give her all sorts of things and she knows what she likes.
Kelly Brook on Botox and loving her curves
Discussing surgical procedures and cosmetic tweakments, Kelly admitted she is not averse to some intervention here and there, but draws the line at weight-loss jabs.
She said she loves facials and massage, and has a little Botox because she frowns a lot, but that when it comes to her body she is really precious about it. She said she loves her body, adding that she ran a marathon this year and that her body has got her through so many things. She said she just loves her curves, and that her husband loves her curves too, adding that she thinks it is unfortunate that women feel the need to change who they are.
