Kimberly Wyatt Reveals Diet After Secret Hip Replacement

Kimberly Wyatt, 44, reveals her diet and workout regime ahead of the Pussycat Dolls tour after a secret 2024 hip replacement.

Kimberly Wyatt Reveals Diet After Secret Hip Replacement

Kimberly Wyatt, 44, has revealed the diet and fitness regime she uses to stay tour-ready as she prepares for the Pussycat Dolls' reunion tour, following a hip replacement in 2024 that she kept secret for more than two years.

Wyatt shot to fame in 2003 when she joined the Pussycat Dolls at the age of 21. She is now reuniting with bandmates Nicole Scherzinger and Ashley Roberts for the group's PCD Forever Tour, alongside running her own dance academy, working as a DJ on Hits Radio, and raising three children with her husband, model Max Rodgers, 44.

Kimberly Wyatt's diet

Wyatt told the Daily Mail she has become far more careful about what she eats as she has got older. "I've had to really be strict on myself with what I eat as I've gotten older, especially, I think," she said. "Getting in the good foods. What you put in your mouth the first moment when you wake up is so important. Drinking lots of water. I would like to say I've got a green thumb."

For breakfast she keeps things simple with yogurt, granola, honey and blueberries, and has been snacking on watermelon, which she said is "good for all the kids" too. Her go-to lunch is a caprese salad. "I've been making a caprese almost every day with prosciutto and avocado, tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, almond shavings, lots of balsamic vinegar and oil," she said. "It's my favourite go-to."

When it comes to diet, the star revealed that she is a lot more aware and cautious of what she puts into her body

Dinner is more relaxed and built around her children. "It's always varied. So, anything from spaghetti to fish fingers to chicken and chips or anything along that route. But it's summer, so barbecue is always a big one. I come from the barbecue capital, so I love a nice barbecue meal as well," she said.

Wyatt also grows her own food at home. "Eating seasonally, I think, is the ultimate health benefit. I've got a chilli plant, I'm working on my zucchini, and I've got a big old pumpkin patch at the minute. So, every year it is kind of hit and miss, but yeah, I'm working towards it," she said. Her one strict rule is not eating anything after 7pm.

Fitness and dance regime

Wyatt is currently in rehearsals for the Pussycat Dolls tour, which she said involves eight to ten hours of dancing a day. "But normally, I love HIT training. I love to sweat. I like to do a bit of lifting. It keeps my muscles and everything supple and ready. I love to ride my bike around the canals," she said. "I like playing football with the kids in the garden. Pretty much anything that keeps me moving."

She named dance as her ultimate go-to. "I run a dance academy as well, and I would say that dance is probably my ultimate go-to. Jazz, Street, Ballet, I do love all of it," she said. Her school, the Kimberly Wyatt Dance Academy, is based in Surrey and runs intensive training camps, masterclasses and community events at the Addlestone Community Centre. "I've got 300 students at the dance academy, and we offer all styles from street to ballet and everything in between, so I'm consistently immersed in it," she added.

Hip replacement recovery

In 2024 Wyatt underwent a hip replacement, a fact she kept private until June this year. "I'm so glad that I got it done," she said of her recovery.

When it comes to her workout regime, Kimberly is extremely active, especially as she is currently preparing to go on tour for the Pussycat Dolls reunion

"I feel like I've met this new little crowd of people that have had hip replacements, and we finally have somebody to talk to about it," she said. "I was really, really happy to have Andy Murray, who'd had a hip replacement and went back to tennis and was still winning. So yeah, your mobility definitely changes. You know, you've got something foreign in your body, but I've got my lease of life back. I can sleep at night. I can walk normally. But yeah, it's crazy what happens to your body as you get older, but we just embrace it."

Wyatt said she kept the operation secret because she was frightened about how it might affect her mobility. "I was so scared about what that meant, how it was going to feel, how you recover," she said. "Of course, going back to what the Pussycat Dolls ask, the law of my body. But I think there also has to be an element of just embracing everything that you go through for what it is and being able to challenge yourself, but also celebrate wherever you're at with that. I think that going on tour has certainly given me an opportunity to do that. Life doesn't have to be done. We just kind of roll with the punches and keep on going."

The Pussycat Dolls' PCD Forever Tour begins on September 9 at the Royal Arena in Denmark and ends at the O2 in London on October 13.

Asked how she balances the tour with being a wife and mother, Wyatt said: "It's a lot of time out of the calendar. There are a lot of things that I've been doing, from journaling and writing about how I'm feeling, spending lots of time with my kids, like, you know, going away and just having my feet on the ground and being really present and focused because they're, of course, my number one priority. But ultimately, this is a chance to show them what it means to be mum and be a Pussycat Doll."

She added: "It's a lot of stretching but also keeping your enthusiasm. I think that's a really important part of getting ready for a world tour. You can't let the pressure crush you. I feel really grateful, and I'm practising gratitude every day. I do feel like I've got a lot of plates spinning. I just have to keep being mindful. And of course, your priorities kind of shift and twist and turn. But I always realise if my career is getting too much of my attention, I bring it back to family. I just always try to stay balanced, stay mindful, and be present."

Marro Meow competition

Elsewhere, Kimberly has joined a five-person judging panel to crown the winner of the cat whose meow sounds most like 'Marro'

Away from the tour, Wyatt has joined a five-person judging panel for a competition to find the cat whose meow sounds most like the word "Marro." Cat food brand Marro has launched a nationwide search for the UK and Ireland's ultimate feline vocalist, with a prize of £10,000 for the winner.

Cat owners have until September 6 to post their pet's vocal talents on Instagram or TikTok using the hashtag #MeowForMarro, whether that is a tiny squeak, an ear-piercing dinner-time demand or a full-blown diva performance.

"I know a thing or two about vocal presence and stage charisma, and it's time our cats get their moment in the spotlight!" Wyatt said. "I am so excited to team up with Marro to find the ultimate Marro Meow. We'll be tuning in on social media to listen to your felines and rate their vocals, whether your cat hits high-pitched divas notes, gentle squeaks, or a full-on theatrical performance at dinner time. I can't wait to hear who has the perfect vocal power to take the crown!"

The competition opened at 12.01am on August 12, 2026, and runs until 11.59pm on September 6, 2026. To enter, owners must record a video of their cat on Instagram or TikTok, tag @MarroForCats, use the hashtag #MeowForMarro, and include the phrase "This is [Cat's Name]'s submission to win the Marro Meow £10k" in the caption or video audio.
