Kinoprime Director Warns AI Tools Cheapen Film Production

Kinoprime Foundation executive director Anton Malyshev has warned that artificial intelligence tools in film production must be limited because they cheapen projects. Speaking in an interview with IS Vesti, Malyshev said overusing artificial intelligence can make a movie visually less appealing.

Risks in Film Production

Malyshev explained that even if a film project is wonderful, expert reviewers who notice artificial intelligence elements often feel that it cheapens the work. He added that artificial intelligence tools should be rationed during production to preserve visual quality.

According to Malyshev, project quality depends on genuine human effort rather than digital shortcuts. He said shooting for just one shift without sets or costumes, but using real actors who take the project seriously, creates a much more advantageous result.
