Russian director Kirill Sokolov will direct a new science-fiction movie titled Blur for the streaming service Netflix, according to publication The Hollywood Reporter. Sokolov will also write the screenplay for the project.
Plot and screenplay details
Ellen Shanman, one of the screenwriters of the upcoming film Voltron, will co-write the story alongside Sokolov. While full plot details remain unknown, a short description revealed by journalists indicates the film will follow a mother and daughter who begin interacting with teleportation.
Blur will mark the second English-language feature for Sokolov. The director previously made the horror movie They Will Come For You.
