Greek actor Krateros Katsoulis has admitted he has been romantically rejected, saying the experience is a natural part of every man’s life. He made the comments in an interview with the newspaper Apogeumatini, tied to his role in the production of Lysistrata by the State Theatre of Northern Greece.
Katsoulis said that being rejected while pursuing someone is part of a maturation process and described romantic pursuit as a beautiful game that everyone goes through depending on their age and the time in their life.
The actor also spoke about flirting, calling it a sign of culture and humor and describing it as essential to human communication. He said flirting has nearly disappeared in the modern era.
On how he handles rejection, Katsoulis said it depends on a person’s expectations at the time and how they understand love. He also expressed concern about how technology has changed human relationships, arguing that people now sit isolated staring at their phones, living in an illusion, instead of coming together, falling in love, and spending time with one another.
