Ukrainian streaming platform Kyivstar TV and dessert chain MILK BAR have launched a joint collaboration to mark Ukrainian Film Day, combining domestic cinema with a special dessert line. The desserts went on sale at MILK BAR locations on September 15 and will remain available until October 15.
As part of the collaboration, MILK BAR created three desserts shaped like vintage televisions, each dedicated to a well-known Ukrainian film or television title. The desserts feature the historical film "Dovbush," the animated feature "Mavka: The Forest Song" and the television series "And There Will Be People."
Each dessert comes in packaging printed with a QR code. Customers who scan the code receive a promo code granting 30 days of access to a special selection of Ukrainian films and shows on Kyivstar TV.

Liudmyla Yaichenia, head of Kyivstar TV, said Ukrainian cinema does not live only on screen but has become part of people's conversations, meetings and everyday moments. She said the collaboration was meant to show that an introduction to Ukrainian stories can begin with something as simple as a dessert and continue in front of a screen. She added that the platform was looking for new ways to talk about Ukrainian film and make it more accessible to a wider audience.

The chain also operates abroad, with two locations in Warsaw, Milk Bar and GxMilk Bar, the latter created in partnership with GxBar. In October 2025, Milk Bar opened its first location in Baku.
The special dessert line will remain on sale at MILK BAR through October 15.
