Kylie Jenner has issued a public response to mounting speculation that she and her boyfriend Timothee Chalamet are starting a family together.
Speaking on the podcast Better Half, hosted by her friends Victoria Villarroel and Anastasia "Stassie" Karanikolaou, the 29-year-old lip kit mogul explained why she chose not to address the rumors immediately. Jenner said she has grown accustomed to public speculation and prefers to let rumors clear up naturally.
"I think that I'm so used to people creating their own narrative that I actually have to just laugh about it and I really don't care, because I just assume people will figure it out eventually, which is what they always do," Jenner said. She added that she had noticed the recent rumors online. "People think I'm pregnant right now, at least I saw some things, and I'm like: 'Well, I'm not gonna address everything, 'cause it's like, I'm gonna be in a bikini somewhere or I'm gonna be out and the rumors will be squashed,'" she declared.
"So I kind of just don't feel the need to say anything ever," Jenner continued. "I'm just like: 'Well, it is what it is.' I can't comment on everything so I just laugh about it and join in on the party," she said with a chuckle.
Jenner already shares two children with her former partner, the rapper Travis Scott, with whom she maintains an amicable relationship. The former couple are parents to an eight-year-old daughter, Stormi, and a four-year-old son, Aire. Jenner and Chalamet took their romance public nearly three years ago, when they were spotted kissing passionately in the stands during a Beyonce concert in September 2023.

Comments on Future Family Plans
Jenner's podcast comments follow previous remarks she made regarding her family plans during an appearance on her sister Khloe Kardashian's show, The Girls. On the program, Jenner stated that "the thought of carrying another baby right now feels insane."
In a separate FaceTime conversation with family friends Yris Palmer and Malika Haqq, Jenner declared herself "99.9 percent sure" that surrogacy was off the table for her. Explaining her reasoning, she noted that because her own past pregnancies had resulted in "big healthy babies," she felt there was "no reason for me to really have a surrogate."
As the founder of Kylie Cosmetics, Jenner built a global beauty empire after launching her famous lip kits, becoming one of the most visible figures in modern pop culture alongside her family on their reality television series. Chalamet, an acclaimed actor known for leading roles in major Hollywood feature films, has been frequently seen with Jenner at high-profile industry events throughout their relationship.
Wedding Appearance and Online Criticism
The pregnancy speculation comes shortly after Jenner and Chalamet drew attention for their attire at the wedding of friend Jordyn Woods to New York Knicks player Karl-Anthony Towns. Both Jenner and Chalamet faced online trolling from fans critiquing their chosen outfits for the nuptials.
Chalamet, a longtime devotee of the New York Knicks who is frequently spotted sitting courtside at their basketball games, received online criticism over his untucked and slightly rumpled checked shirt. One fan branded the shirt "sloppy and embarrassing," while Houston-based content creator Liza posted a video on TikTok joking, "This is a plaid shirt that I would see my grandpa wearing fishing."
Meanwhile, Jenner faced accusations of upstaging the bride in a revealing black dress that featured a high thigh slit and wide cut-outs along her sides. The public focus on the couple at the ceremony marked a notable moment given Jenner's long history with Woods.
Jenner and Woods, who were once best friends, drifted apart in 2019 after Woods shared a kiss at a party with NBA player Tristan Thompson. At the time, Thompson was romantically involved with Jenner's sister, Khloe Kardashian. Although Kardashian later reconciled with Thompson, she ultimately dumped him for the final time in 2021 when news broke that he had fathered a child with fitness trainer Maralee Nichols.
Following the 2019 party incident, the Kardashian-Jenner family was reputed to have closed ranks against Woods. However, after years of separation, Jenner and Woods offered the first public signal of their rapprochement in July 2023, when they were spotted going out for sushi together in Los Angeles.
Oscars Campaign and Backlash
Throughout award season, Jenner was a steadfast presence at Chalamet's side as he campaigned for best actor for his role in Marty Supreme, directed by Josh Safdie. In the film, Chalamet portrayed a character based on a real underground ping-pong player in 1950s New York, entering the race as an early Oscars favorite.
However, Chalamet's pomposity in media interviews led to a gradual souring of public opinion. Sources exclusively informed the Daily Mail that a "Stop Timmy" campaign had gathered steam against him ahead of the Academy Awards ceremony.
Chalamet, whose mother and sister both trained in ballet, further fueled public backlash when he remarked during an interview that "no one cares about" opera and ballet. The controversial comments drew widespread criticism across the arts community and social media platforms.
Oscar night ultimately turned into a humiliation for Chalamet, who was repeatedly mocked over his comments before losing the best actor award to Michael B. Jordan for his performance in Sinners. Following the ceremony, Chalamet found comfort in Jenner's affections at the Vanity Fair afterparty, where he was seen wrapping his arms around her and planting a kiss on her cheek.

Matchmaking Kendall Jenner and Jacob Elordi
During the award season marathon, Jenner also performed matchmaking duties for her sister, model Kendall Jenner, and actor Jacob Elordi. Elordi was conducting his own best supporting actor campaign for his role in director Guillermo del Toro's film Frankenstein.
In April, reports surfaced via Deuxmoi that Kendall and Elordi were seen "making out and all over each other" at Justin Bieber's Coachella afterparty. An insider subsequently informed the Daily Mail that the pair had actually been dating as far back as early February, thanks to Jenner's intervention.
An insider explained that Jenner was around Elordi frequently because both he and Chalamet were nominated during the same awards circuit. "Kylie is the alpha sister and pushed Kenny to start a romance with Jacob because she wanted to set up double dates with Timothee," the source shared. The insider added that "Kenny's house is where all the parties happen, a lot of action there, so the four of them got close there," noting that Kendall "found out she just clicked with Jacob... there was chemistry."
Kendall and Elordi were previously seen in rapt conversation at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in March, sparking early romance rumors among fans. By May, the couple was spotted drinking rosé together on a beach in Hawaii and enjoying a double date in Los Angeles alongside Jenner and Chalamet.
