Lady Gaga and Coldplay are reported to perform at the Sardinia wedding of American blockchain billionaire Brendan Blumer and Salvatore Spano in September.
Italian newspaper L'Unione Sarda reported that one of the primary celebrations will take place on board the ferry Agata, which is currently docked in the port of Olbia in northeastern Sardinia.
According to local media reports, organizers are constructing a floating stage on the ferry to host live musical performances. The vessel is also being outfitted with custom gastronomic spaces and private entertaining zones for guests.
Lady Gaga, the Grammy-winning pop star known for hits such as Poker Face and Bad Romance, and British rock band Coldplay, led by singer Chris Martin, have been named as the headlining acts for the private gathering.
Multi-day itinerary across the Emerald Coast
The wedding festivities are scheduled to begin on September 4 and will span several days across the Gallura region of Sardinia. The area includes the Costa Smeralda, an exclusive resort enclave on the island's northern coast renowned for its granite cliffs and luxury marinas.
Following the initial onboard event on September 4, the ferry Agata is slated to travel toward the coastal headland of Capo Figari. Local reports state the vessel may also sail toward the waterfront of the Hotel Pitrizza, a luxury resort situated along the Costa Smeralda, as the celebration continues.
On September 5, the wedding celebration is expected to move inland to San Pantaleo, a historic hillside village in the municipality of Olbia. Italian media reported that several local restaurants and venues throughout the village have been reserved exclusively to host the wedding banquet for the couple's guests.
A star-studded guest performance lineup
In addition to Lady Gaga and Coldplay, Italian media have linked several other high-profile musicians to the celebration. Italian pop stars Giorgia and Laura Pausini, Norwegian DJ Kygo, and British singer Rita Ora have all been reported as potential musical acts for the event.
Italian singer Giorgia is reportedly scheduled to perform during the wedding banquet in San Pantaleo on September 5. Organizers have kept the official schedule under strict secrecy, and none of the featured artists have publicly confirmed their participation.
Local news outlets emphasized that Lady Gaga's participation should be viewed as a private booking possibility rather than an announced public concert. The reported appearance comes as the singer maintains an active schedule, having recently stirred fan speculation online through social media updates, new Polaroid photos, and ongoing business ventures in cosmetics and technology.
Couple's ties to Sardinia
Brendan Blumer is an American entrepreneur and investor active in the blockchain technology sector, best known as the chief executive of tech firm Block.one. Salvatore Spano was born in Olbia, the primary commercial and transport hub of northern Sardinia.
The couple maintains a long-standing personal relationship with Sardinia. According to L'Unione Sarda, Blumer and Spano first met on the Costa Smeralda while Spano was working at a Gucci luxury retail store in the resort area.
Last year, Blumer purchased an estate in the nearby luxury enclave of Romazzino for approximately 160 million euros. The high-end residential area, known for some of the Mediterranean's most expensive real estate, is expected to serve as one of the central hubs for the multi-day wedding festivities.
