The Latin Recording Academy released the complete list of nominees for the 27th Annual Latin Grammy Awards on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. The awards ceremony will take place on November 12 in the United States.
According to the organization, nominees were selected across 60 categories, reflecting a wide range of artists who released recordings during the eligibility period, which ran from June 1, 2025 to May 31, 2026.
To qualify, all songs considered had to be previously unreleased and contain a minimum of 60 percent of their lyrics in Spanish, Portuguese or another native regional language.
Brazilian artists featured prominently among this year's nominees, including Anitta, Urias, Criolo, Marisa Monte, Johnny Hooker, Ney Matogrosso, Loulu Gilberto and Zeca Veloso.
The Latin Grammy Awards are presented annually by The Latin Recording Academy, a sister organization to the Recording Academy, which hands out the main Grammy Awards. The Latin Grammys recognize excellence in Spanish- and Portuguese-language music and are separate from the English-language ceremony held earlier each year.
