Laura Cuevas has sparked controversy after making shocking statements to news agency Europa Press about Lola Garcia, the girlfriend of DJ Kiko Rivera.
Cuevas, the daughter of the former estate manager at the Cantora estate in southern Spain, claimed that the dancer entered a relationship with Rivera primarily to get close to his mother, singer Isabel Pantoja.
In her remarks to Europa Press, Cuevas asserted that Garcia was more in love with Pantoja than with her son. She added that Garcia was very smart and stated that she did not like her at all, noting that Rivera had reconciled with his mother thanks to Garcia.
Cuevas further claimed that Garcia had not wanted to get to know Rivera, but rather had only wanted to meet his mother. The comments have revived an old rumor suggesting the dancer approached the DJ specifically to build a relationship with her mother-in-law, whom she deeply admires.

Although Cuevas currently has no relationship with the DJ, she wished him the best in his recovery following the stroke he suffered on July 19. However, she made clear that she believes Garcia is not the right woman for him and did not hesitate to criticize the dancer.
Cuevas declared that she was entirely on Rivera's side, describing him as the best of all the Pantojas and the one who has always had the biggest heart. She acknowledged that he sometimes speaks without thinking, which can leave him looking bad, but insisted he has an exceptionally big heart.
In contrast, Cuevas described Garcia as very clever, specifying that she did not mean it in a good way. She warned people to be careful with Garcia, calling her one of the worst partners Rivera has had so far.

Garcia is reportedly deeply offended by the harsh statements. Her reaction comes as friends and associates defend her intentions regarding the celebrity family.
According to sources close to the dancer, while it is true that she is an unconditional fan of Pantoja, she is deeply in love with Rivera and feels very happy at his side.
Cuevas grew up alongside Rivera on the Cantora estate, where her father worked as mayoral. Rivera, a prominent Spanish media personality and DJ, has frequently featured in the country's entertainment news alongside his mother, a celebrated traditional Spanish singer.
