The Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad 11 tablet has dropped to 144.19 euros on online marketplace AliExpress, down from its original price of 183.45 euros.
The price reduction brings the 2025 budget Android tablet below the 150-euro mark, offering students an affordable device that pairs an 11-inch 2.5K screen with a large battery for academic coursework.
Javier Rosagro, a technology journalist based in Murcia writing for Spanish daily newspaper La Razon, reported that inexpensive tablets typically compromise on display hardware first. Rosagro pointed out that the 2025 Xiaoxin Pad 11 adopts the opposite strategy, investing in display resolution and battery life while cutting back on processing power, an arrangement tailored specifically for study use.

High-resolution display designed for coursework
The central selling point of the tablet is its 11-inch screen with a 2.5K resolution. Rosagro noted that the panel eliminates the need to squint when reading digital textbooks and PDF documents. Scanned diagrams, mathematical formulas, and handwritten margin notes maintain their sharpness under magnification rather than dissolving into visible pixels.
A standard high-definition display on older budget tablets often struggles to render small characters clearly. In contrast, a 2.5K panel provides higher pixel density, making the jump in visual sharpness immediately apparent from the first page of reading.
The screen also features a 90 Hz refresh rate. While that does not match the 120 Hz fluidity found on premium tablets that cost substantially more, Rosagro explained that it eliminates the stuttering typical of standard 60 Hz panels when scrolling through long documents.
The physical 11-inch footprint allows an entire A4 page to appear at a comfortable reading size. Rosagro observed that the format is large enough to prevent users from having to zoom in on individual paragraphs, while remaining compact enough to carry inside an everyday backpack.

Document scanning and classroom battery endurance
On the rear, the tablet carries an 8-megapixel camera. Rosagro advised that nobody should buy the device for standard photography, but explained that the sensor is instead designed for classroom utility, such as capturing whiteboard notes at the end of lectures or photographing papers shared by classmates.
Rosagro stated that 8 megapixels is more than sufficient for document scanning applications, keeping small handwriting crisp and legible when converted into PDF format. Scanning documents directly on the tablet also removes the friction of sending photographs from a mobile phone, sending files straight into local course folders.
The device is equipped with a 7,040 mAh battery. Because displaying static text consumes very little power, Rosagro reported that the capacity easily carries students through a full day of lectures without the need to hunt for an electrical outlet between classes.
Processor tradeoffs and memory configurations
To reach its budget price point, Lenovo reduced expenditure on processing components. The tablet is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, an entry-level mobile processor engineered to prioritise energy efficiency over computational speed.
Rosagro noted that the Dimensity 6300 comfortably handles standard academic workloads, including reading documents, streaming video lectures, and running basic office productivity software. However, the chip struggles with intensive 3D mobile games and heavy video editing, meaning shoppers should not treat the tablet as a laptop substitute or high-performance gaming device.

The device is available in three distinct hardware tiers: 6 GB of RAM with 128 GB of storage, 8 GB of RAM with 128 GB of storage, and 8 GB of RAM with 256 GB of storage. Rosagro recommended buying an 8 GB model for multitasking, noting that the extra memory allows users to keep a PDF reader, a web browser, and a note-taking application active simultaneously without background apps refreshing.
Global software version and brand background
All three memory variants are sold in a grey finish and ship with the Global ROM firmware, configuring the hardware for use outside mainland China with multi-language settings and Google mobile services installed.
Lenovo Group Limited, dual-headquartered in Beijing and Morrisville, North Carolina, is the world largest personal computer vendor by shipment volume. The company produces the Xiaoxin product family primarily for domestic and international students, often distributing units across global export channels including AliExpress, the international ecommerce marketplace owned by Alibaba Group.
Rosagro concluded that budget tablet buyers usually face a difficult choice between a sharp screen and a long-lasting battery. The current AliExpress discount positions the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad 11 as a compelling option that provides both features, placing its technical compromises where study-focused users will feel them least.
