Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía attended the traditional summer reception the King and Queen hold at Marivent Palace in Mallorca on Tuesday, an event that gathers authorities and a broad representation of Balearic society and opens the Spanish royal family's official summer holiday. Both sisters wore outfits featuring tie-dye-style prints, one of the season's biggest trends, though each in a different style.
The appearance marked the second time Leonor and Sofía have taken part in the Marivent reception. They first joined the institutional event last year, when their attendance made headlines as a debut.
Leonor wears Thinking Mu
Princess Leonor chose an outfit from Thinking Mu, a Spanish sustainable fashion label. She wore the Dora pleated top, priced at 89.90 euros, paired with the Pauline long pleated skirt, priced at 130 euros. Both pieces share a gradient print in red, orange and blue tones that evokes a tie-dye effect.
Leonor completed the look with flat sandals and natural makeup. She also wore her hair in its natural curls, a beauty detail that stood out and gave her a more spontaneous, relaxed image.
Sofía chooses Momonì
Infanta Sofía wore a dress from the Italian label Momonì, the Libelula model, made from printed viscose in an all-over multicolor magenta pattern. The lightweight, flowing dress features a V-neck, a gathered waist and a fluid skirt.
Its print, in magenta, pink, burgundy and cream tones, echoes the watercolor or tie-dye effect also seen in her sister's outfit. Sofía paired the dress with flat sandals in a leather tone and wore her hair completely straight, in contrast with Leonor's natural curls.
A shared trend, two different styles
Despite differing in silhouette and color, the two outfits shared the same tie-dye inspiration, reinterpreted in a sophisticated, artistic way. Queen Letizia wore a white dress with clean lines at the reception, while Queen Sofía kept to the floral prints that have long been part of her style.
Leonor and Sofía brought the youngest and most current note of the evening, once again standing out at one of the Spanish royal family's key summer events.
