To the Carnival, there are no rules regarding the costume: you can buy a ready-made one or create your own at home. And one costume that has already become a classic in the blocks is the mermaid costume. In addition to being cheap and easily accessible, it is perfect to accompany that fancier trick like “mermaid skin“.

How to do:

1st step: With the help of a pin, fix the felt over one of the bra cups, covering it completely. And with the black pen, trace the bottom of the cup on the felt. Proceed in the same way with the other bowl.

2nd step: Next, remove the felt from the bra and draw a seashell from the outline you created. The idea is that it hides the bra, so it makes a shell bigger than the cup.

3rd step: Cut out the shells and sew them on top of each bowl with the thread.

4th step: Take the brush and with the paint color of your choice, paint the shells. With the paint still wet, throw some in glitter above each.

5th step: Take the pearl chain and sew it to each shell.

6th step: To finish off your mermaid top, use silicone glue to glue the rhinestones onto the shells.
