Queijo Queijo is a typical dessert of Brazilian cuisine that emerged in the imperial period made with coconut and sugar basically. While chewing this candy, the jawbreaker is a harder candy (it looks like a pé-de-moleque) and therefore gives the sensation that the jaw is about to break: hence the name jawbreaker.
It began to become popular in the Brazilian northeast, spread throughout the country and became part of the cuisine of several states. Jawbreaker cake on a plate brings together everything we love most… Cake, coconut and a caramel decoration that makes the dessert even better!
