Impact of yoga on Tania Khallil

“Brutal change in my life. So, through pranayama, breathing and mantras, which for me have made a huge sense in my life. I think releasing the chakra, larynx, speech, communication, which has everything to doing with art, it made a lot of sense to me to chant mantras,” said Tania Khallil in an exclusive interview with Sport Life.

Tania’s identification with yoga is intense to the point where she is expert in Kundalini training after her trip to the city of Amsterdam, Holland. Kundalini is the Sanskrit term kundal and means circular. This modality works for a person to reach energetic and spiritual potential.

“I practiced a little every day. It is used a lot (kundalini) ancestrally as a healing activator of the body. There are many psychologists trained in kundalini yoga. It is a technique that activates the central nervous system a lot. Kundalini made me open spaces incredibly beautiful inside me. The transformation is so brutal that it’s even difficult to put into words,” admitted the actress.

The difficult beginning in yoga

Yoga became Khallil’s daily component when he suffered a hip injury after dancing and fighting Muay-thai. The pain was severe, the non-surgical treatments brought him the necessary effects and until he found persistence in yoga.

“I’ve taken sporadic classes before, but I’ve found someone who has really brought yoga to the way I see it today. Which is this tool through the body of spiritual connection, opening up the inner space, and calming the mind. I’ve persisted in yoga the most than any cutting edge injury procedure and it has worked the most for me through this pain,” she recalled.

Food and bodybuilding are Khallil’s other combinations for his well being. Her menu is not based on veganism, she gave up the vegetarian side after two years and consumes animal proteins in moderation. As for the exercises, she has already practiced several and follows the bodybuilding routine with functional and walking.

“Because I’m someone who likes variety, I work out at least four times a week, I vary between these things, but twice a week I do weight training and functional training to keep my bones strong,” she explained.

Watching him today, almost 20 years later, was transformative in my life and with a wonderful cast. possibilities, to connect with people and find the dream that was very strong for me to do soap operas,” she recalled.

Future

Khallil is the wife of Jair Oliveira, 45, and from this 17-year union their daughters Isabella and Laura were born. She but she currently she lives in Weston, Florida, USA. A situation that does not motivate her to return to Brazil to work with soap operas, only with series.

“Right now, it doesn’t make sense for me to go back to Brazil to do a soap opera. It’s too long, my daughters are of a very important age and it took me a long time to make room for myself to live with my family the way I I live now,” he argued.

“Right now, I don’t see myself going back to soap operas, but I see myself going back to making series and shorter character movies. So, that’s what I was looking for in Brazil and here (USA) too. ‘On the scene of life’ to connect spirituality in our ordinary life,” he concluded.
