The Central Bank makes available this Tuesday (7) the possibility of transferring money forgotten in accounts; see how to do it
This Tuesday (07), the Central Bank will reopen access to the Active value system, a site that informs if citizens have money forgotten in banking institutions. According to BC, there are approx BRL 6 billion to be withdrawnwhich is divided between 38 million individuals and 2 million businesses.

The system is available from 10:00, on the website valorareceber.bcb.gov.br/. From 28 February it is possible to check on the website if there are any amounts to be received from you, your company or the deceased. So, if you want to check if you have forgotten the money, please visit the website above.
With a simple query, where you inform only CPF or CNPJ and date of birth, it is already possible to know if there are amounts to receive. So, if you still have doubts whether you forgot some money or not, it is worth consulting the portal in advance so that you do not have to deal with the system when opening.
The amount to be received may not be very large
Although the amount of R$ 6 billion attracts attention, a study by the Central Bank has revealed that the majority of beneficiaries has between R $ 0.00 and R $ 10.00 Receive. Overall, there are around 29,282,110 accounts, equal to 62% of people who have forgotten some money. Then 12,195,837 accounts (26%) enter that have values between 10.01 and R $ 100.00.
In turn, 10% of accounts have intermediate amounts BRL 100.01 and BRL 1,000.00 and a small percentage of 1.37% have credits exceeding R $ 1,000.
Be careful when checking for forgotten money
The Central Bank is the only site that provides access to money forgotten in accounts. Here because, do not visit unknown links, nor transmit your information via email or WhatsApp. BC does not contact you to manage credits or to confirm personal data, so beware of scams!
