INGREDIENTS
Beef Steaks:
- 400 g of flié mignon or sirloin steak, cleaned and fat-free.
Baked Milanese, without frying:
- ¼ cup wheat flour
- 1 egg, diluted in a little filtered water
- salt
- pepper (optional)
- 0.25 teaspoon of paprika
- 0.5 cup breadcrumbs or panko flour, or enough for breading.

PRE-PREPARATION:
- Gather all the ingredients and utensils for the recipe.
- Start by preparing and seasoning the steaks (see preparation).
- Preheat the oven to 220°C.
PREPARATION:
Steaks (this step must be done before continuing pre-preparation):
- Cut the meat into steaks – 2 units per person, about 100 g each.
- Line the cutting board with cling film and also the meat batter.
- Place steaks on cutting board, cover with plastic wrap. Blend to become thin, evenly thick.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Continue pre-preparation.
Baked Milanese:
- Put the flour in a bowl, in another the beaten egg with a little salt and pepper (optional) and in another the breadcrumbs or panko mixed with the paprika.
- Coat the steaks first in the flour, then in the beaten egg and finally in the breadcrumbs or panko.
- Squeeze them well so that they are well breaded.
- Arrange on one or more buttered trays, without overlapping them.
- Drizzle corn oil on each one, in zig zags and quick strokes.
- Cook for 25 minutes. Open, turn steaks and swirl pan and continue for another 15-25 minutes or until well browned.
- Remove, dry with paper towels.
FINISHING AND ASSEMBLY:
- Serve with a salad dressing of your choice, on platters or mount directly onto plates.
