Why do we love Daisy Jones & The Six? therapist replies

The success of the series is not only in romance, interesting scenes and music; Come and meet!

Daisy Jones and the six just premiered and there are already people declaring a deep love for the series! How did this connection come about? The music is very good, yes; interesting behind the scenes, yes; and the rock and roll era is immersive, YES. But I believe the connection lies in the identification with the Our with the story.

Who has never been judged @ for something that happened without knowing the whole truth? And who has never judged by looking only at a partial point of view and would like to know other versions? Everyone!

We act and react according to our perceptions, which are partial, because we are inside history, ours, and we only have this overview. But the possibility of broadening our gaze and increasing our perception of the facts is something that arouses more than curiosity, it touches our desire to understand ourselves and the world around us.

Why do we love Daisy Jones & The Six?

Daisy Jones and the six is a fiction about a very successful band with millions of copies of their album sold, told as an interview, years after the unexpected separation and without explanation from the members.

Going back and forth in time shows events from different points of view. With this, we, as observers, have the most general and personal impressions, or at least greater than those of the participants in the story itself. And it is precisely this that draws our attention: the possibility of seeing from different angles.

But that is not all. Each character has its own universe and stories similar to ours, generating a strong identification. This is what I’m going to talk about next, giving a therapeutic insight into Daisy Jones et al, with the aim of clarifying some things out there as well.

The therapeutic vision of the characters

I, Simone KobayashiI have been a Holistic Therapist for over 20 years and gather techniques such as Reiki, Florals, Acupuncture, Energy Analysis, Energy Cleansing, Attunement, Access Bars and Quantum Healing in my services.

Next, I do a therapeutic analysis of two characters based on the first few chapters of Daisy Jones and the six (i.e. there are almost no spoilers), which helps us identify with the series.

Margaret Jones

Right at the beginning of the first episode, one of the interviewees says: “Daisy was born with all the advantages. Her father’s money, her mother’s beauty. She had everything at her disposal”. The scene we see is her as a child, in her room, singing, and her parents having a party.

The mother then enters her room and says: “Do you never shut up? Nobody wants to hear your voice”, and leaves the room saying to someone: “She was put on this Earth to make me feel ashamed”.

We currently know a little more about what such a discourse does to a person and it is only recently that we have begun to give importance to the effects of events and discourses in the formation of references and information that are part of Being.

We know that Daisy will be the singer. Now, let’s see how she dealt with this mother’s speech as a child and other traumatic situations.

Who can’t relate? We live in similar situations and have references and information that reverberate in our lives and in our field. They continue to limit us and repeatedly put us in situations that we are not even aware of, that we do not remember or that we have done everything to forget – but that do not go away.

We continue to live and do our best, even if they are harmful habits and harm us (see here how to transform them).

There are tools and techniques to help change patterns, such as traditional therapy (Psychology, for example) and Vibrational Therapy (find out here). With this, it is as if we can finally access other points of view and have more breadth about our past, being able to transform the present and the future.

Billy Dunne

When interviewed, Billy Dunne begins by saying: “There were two options for the kids of my city, the steel mill or the war. I dreamed of something different”.

Billy falls outside the local norm and is proud of it. Indeed, he is distinguished by his choice not to follow the norm. Interesting to realize that “normal” is unreal. Because what we have seen, heard, perceived and experienced in our history will be the normal references for each of us. And being for each of us, it is different, and not the norm.

From this partial and illusory reference to what we see as normal, we see the desire both to fit in and to be different.

They are mental constructions, patterns and structures that are forming to justify and make sense of what we don’t understand. A missing parent, for example, with or without explanation, leads us to create schemes for him to make sense, even if negative and harmful to ourselves. And we act accordingly and as if they were real.

Again, doing what is possible within the (little) understanding of the Whole. Deal as best you can with the emotion that arises, whether it’s anger, self-defense, or anything else.

These patterns and beliefs and toxicities are also information in our field, even more so if we relive and resent (which causes blockages).

There are two levels of toxicity:

  • the dense, negative, stagnant energies, beliefs, patterns, agendas that continue to thicken and disturb our field and therefore our lives.
  • to the energetic connections (called energetic cords)) that connect us with people, places, objects, relationships and situations.

Your choices can affect your vibration, your body and your energy field if they are based on partial and unreal perceptions, making it more difficult, laborious and problematic.

Raise and hold a higher vibration (learn how here) it is an action that improves the situation, making it easier or less harmful.

Gradually, we see Billy reacting to the recordings of this negative and/or hurtful information without realizing it.

Who has never experienced these strange energies, repetitive negative thoughts or unpleasant sensations, but does not identify with the overload, reacting and taking it as best they can? In these moments, do a cleanliness on all levels and pitches is ideal.

Try looking at yourself watching Daisy Jones & The Six

With Daisy, Billy and the other characters, we identify with the depth of thought and feeling beyond what appears. We see their story, but we can hear it for ours. Not in the facts and situations themselves, but in the way of perceiving, reacting and dealing.

The desire and need to increase the perception of facts, to understand ourselves, how we function and the world around us.

And also knowing that they broke up, that something happened to the band, what keeps us going and wanting more Daisy Jones and the six it is the will to understand and deepen the processes that take place behind the apparent. And of course the music is really good!
