It was opened in October last year Disney+, the incredible action comedy Les Amateurs is the latest French production on the platform, after Oussekine or Week-end Family. But did you know that this series, hosted by Vincent Dedien and François Damien, is adapted from a British hit?

Season two of The Wrong Mans, starring Matthew Baynton and James Corden as Sam Pinkett and Phil Bourne, is now available for the most curious.

For those who haven’t seen the French version, this extremely fast-paced series follows the misadventures of two men after an unfortunate misunderstanding. After picking up a phone found at the scene of a car crash, Sam sets out on a mission to rescue a complete stranger’s kidnapped wife with the help of Phil.

Created and written by two of its artists, The Wrong Mans was a real hit when it first aired on the channel almost a decade ago. Irony, British humor, completely overwhelmed by the situation and very attractive characters… all the ingredients are there to spend time in the company of James Corden and Matthew Baynton!

In terms of casting, the series also has some familiar faces, such as Benedict Wong (Doctor Strange), Dougray Scott (Snatch), Alec Utgoff (Stranger Things) and Rebecca Front (Avenue 5). Sarah Soleman plays Lizzie Greene, Sam’s ex-girlfriend and boss.
