7 Easter ideas to bring spring to your home

Easter is the brightest spring holiday, a time to decorate your home, get creative, and simply create an inspiring mood that will “rock” your internal compass to daylight saving time. We have prepared for you bright culinary and creative ideas that will give you a charge of joy and creativity.

1. Make an Easter tree

Such decor will look spectacular and refresh the space of your home, and the composition itself will become your small creative project. The main Easter items – decorative eggs, chickens and chocolates – you can find at a fixed price. Also, to craft a tree, you will need a large glass vase and long tree branches – just pick them up in the forest while walking. Pour water into a vase, place branches, then decorate them with accessories. Get creative with the process: for example, you can write your dreams and goals for Spring-Summer 2023 on colorful stickers. Clips with little chickens and eggs on ribbons will be a nice addition: when the first green leaves come out of the branches, the tree will literally bloom!

2. Give small gifts to family and friends

Easter is another reason to gather the whole family around a large table and congratulate loved ones on a bright holiday. Little surprises presented to friends and family will cheer everyone up. And what’s more, it’s a great source of creativity! As gifts, you can collect Easter family sets: buy a straw basket and put a hare figurine in it, egg boxes, marshmallows in the form of rabbits, as well as a children’s craft kit and stickers.

3. Organize an Easter workshop with the children

Before Easter, on Maundy Thursday, you can hold a fun master class with the children. For example, using a children’s kit to show creativity or simply introducing a child to the preparation of traditional pastries. Knead the dough for the Easter cake, stick stickers on the eggs, sprinkle the Easter cottage cheese with colored sprinkles. Such a creative process unites the family and remains in the memory of children for life.

4. Arrange Easter compositions on the windowsill

Try this year to decorate the window sill in the bedroom or in the kitchen – such an accent in the interior will please the eye from morning to night! Take a glass vase and fill it with plastic Easter eggs of different sizes, and place a lamp and a flower in a pot next to it. Towards evening, turn on the lamp and be sure to make wishes – they will definitely come true!

5. Color the eggs and decorate them

Try a new egg dye this year, like pearl. Such a decor looks not only bright, but also very festive, most importantly, place the eggs on a special stand so that the dye is evenly distributed over the surface. Then apply decorative stickers. Place the eggs in the basket, spreading a towel – so it will be convenient to take them to the temple for consecration, and then to visit you.

6. Bake an Easter cake

Make a classic cupcake or an Easter cake in an Easter-themed mold. Then decorate the pastries with icing and carefully stick the decorations on long wooden skewers on top. Such Easter cakes should be kept in a prominent place, such as a cooking facility!

7. Prepare a festive table

Treat your Easter breakfast or lunch as a creative project. Think over the menu in advance, count the number of people and shop a few days before the holiday.

For a simple and elegant Easter table decoration, you will need a tablecloth, 2-3 natural flowers (like potted hyacinths), 2-3 bunny figurines, candles, napkins and chickens in baskets. In addition, it is worth buying neat Easter compositions that can be placed in the halls after the holiday – they will give the hall comfort and celebration, while remaining relevant for the next year. Cover the table with a tablecloth, place plates and put a basket of chicken on each, put potted hyacinths in neat little flowerpots, and put candles and bunnies between the dishes.

Every holiday is associated with creativity, so try to treat Easter not just as a traditional custom, but also as a time to connect with your inner child. Sometimes it’s important to break the rules and create something according to the calling of the soul, so don’t limit yourself to our recommendations! Watercolor illustration of Easter can be used, as well as decorating your balcony with colored lights and creating creative compositions with Easter symbols. Do what you love and implement your ideas – spring always gives a vital charge!
