Mutt who rose to fame after appearing in a Marina Sena show is adopted

The dog has been adopted by a family and has already been given a new name.

The famous mestizo puppy was adopted and became famous after appearing at the concert of the singer Marina Sena, in Recife. After driving netizens crazy, caramel had a happy ending.

Popularly known as Cultural Caramelo, the pet was looked after by some people who frequented the square where the show was held. In addition to the presentation of the singer, the mestizo had participated in other shows such as Lia de Itamaracá, at the Quartel General do Frevo and, above all, he had participated in the opening general rehearsal with Maestro Forró and his Orquestra Popular da Bomba do Hemetério.

Famous everywhere he went, Caramelo was featured in articles, posts and even won an unofficial profile on Instagram, which would serve to help in the adoption process.

Before being adopted, he was taken to the veterinary hospital in Recife, where he underwent some tests and received the necessary vaccines. After all the screening, more than 20 people were interested in adopting, but the chosen ones were the Coelho family, namely Mauro Rossiter, 43, and Narele Coelho, 41, parents of two teenagers and now parents of a pet.

The difficult part was choosing a name for the new member, but after doing a social media poll on Caramelo’s profile, the name that received the most votes was Frevo. Therefore, it is now called Frevo Caramelo Cultural.

The family is happy and ready to take him to enjoy all the carnivals to come.
