The vision of the triathlete

“Having discipline is essential to overcoming yourself. From my experience, I can say that this is not an easy task, but I can also say that it is not impossible no matter what the barriers are. What you have to do is believe in your potential , take your eyes off the critics and direct them towards your goal,” says Samuel.

It is not only in speech that this working method is limited, i.e. theory must be reconciled with practice on a daily basis. Bortolin will transmit below three tips so that the concentration on one’s goals remains high, even with the daily unexpected events.

Three aids for excellent sports performance

achievable goals

“Setting clear, achievable goals is key. Many people set goals that are very general and what actually ends up hindering their development. Therefore, make sure your goals are realistic and that you have a plan to achieve them,” guides the triathlete.

Routine

Organizing a plan can deliver the desired result. Stop, annotate, define and even make some changes so that everything fits perfectly into everyday life.

“Creating a daily routine helps maintain discipline, defining precise times to work, exercise and relax is important to move forward, without organization you cannot direct your strengths well, which is essential for overcoming difficulties”, guarantees the professional .

The opinions of others are not reality

“Criticisms, which are not accompanied by advice, indications, which are clearly malicious and whose only goal is to discredit and demotivate you, should not be taken into consideration”, concludes Samuel.
