Sam Neill, star of the classic film ‘Jurassic Park’ recently said he was being treated for blood cancer
Recently, the newspaper The Guardian revealed that Sam Neillprotagonist of the film Jurassic Parkwrote a rant in the biography “Did I ever tell you this?” (“Did I ever tell you that?”). The actor revealed that he is being treated for advanced stage blood cancer (leukaemia).
“I can’t pretend senior year didn’t have its dark moments (…) But those dark moments cast the light in stark relief, you know, and left me thankful for each day and immensely thankful for all my friends ” , he said.

In the rant, Sam Neill exposes for the first time the whole painful process he’s going through after being diagnosed with angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma.
The actor said his world completely fell apart after his diagnosis, but he made it clear that he was a cat for life. According to him, the support of family and friends was of paramount importance to move forward in the face of difficult times. Furthermore, it was in the production of his book that he found the strength to overcome the disease.
“I never intended to write a book. But as I continued to write, I realized that it was actually giving me a reason to live and I went to bed thinking, ‘I’ll write this tomorrow… this will amuse me. .’ And it was really lifesaver because I couldn’t have gone through this with nothing to do, you know?” completed.
