Italian Sergio Azzolari has left DSquared2 to take over as CEO of Roberto Cavalli.
Azzolari will start his job as CEO of the Florentine luxury brand from next Sunday (2).
“Azzolari is a seasoned leader, passionate about consumer research and possesses an articulate understanding of the dynamics of building global brands. These skills, combined with his teamwork style, his experience in transformation processes and his determination to deliver, will give us a great advantage to anticipate the future of the brand,” commented Hussain Sajwani, current owner of the Italian brand.
Roberto Cavalli’s new CEO, in turn, said that the company “has enormous potential worldwide”, as well as underlining that he is enthusiastic about leading “the next phase of growth”.
In addition to having worked in DSquared2, Azzolari has also held management positions in Tods, Luxottica and Missoni. .
