The fees for issuing other types of visa will also be adjusted. Temporary work visas (H, L, O, P, Q and R) will increase from US$190 to US$205. Skilled work visas (E) will increase from US$205 to US$315.
The statement said that most visa fees were last updated in 2012, while others were revised in 2014, and that the decision to readjust them was based on a study of the cost of these consular services.
The waiting time to carry out the interview necessary to issue the first visa has reached the highest level in history in São Paulo: 549 days, or more than 18 months. Learn more here.
