However, most men in the fashion industry, if they don’t call girls their muses, at least treat them with a lot of respect. One of them is fashion historian Alexander Vasiliev.
In one of the interviews, for example, he said that a woman will become a successful leader of Russia. According to Vasiliev, there is already enough evidence that representatives of the “fair sex” are capable of a brilliant political career – just look at Indira Gandhi, Angela Merkel or Margaret Thatcher.
But even if you are not going to become the leader of the country, there is something that, according to the fashion historian, must be achieved by the age of 50.
An addiction to overcome
According to Alexander Vasiliev, first of all, it is necessary to abandon dependence on a man.
“Men are individuals who at 40 change wives for two for 20, and at 50 for three for 16,” says Vasiliev. He believes that it is not a question of youth – it is easier for aging representatives of the “strong half of humanity” to deal with young girls, “for whom everything is new and who are not particularly demanding”.

“You have to know that these are the terms of the game. So stop depending on men. A woman should be independent – a woman who will do what she wants, when she wants, with whom she wants and where she wants. A woman should be absolutely independent in her life after 50,” says the TV presenter.
This is great advice that you should take into service even before you turn 50. Self-sufficiency doesn’t hurt even at 30 – another thing is that the more time you have to achieve it, the better. Remember where you are going and why, and you will certainly succeed!
