The 61-year-old designer, who intends to devote himself to a career as a director, revisits his main collections and invites top models to participate in the fashion film, including the Brazilian Carol Trentini, who has a 20-year career.
At his side there are also Amber Valletta, Joan Smalls, Karlie Kloss and Karen Elson. The tops are in a showcase, like in a museum, in a white setting, and Tom Ford, from the outside, looks like a master, directing the movements of the beauties. In one of the films, produced by Steven Klein, everyone is in black and desperate, as if reacting to the news that Tom Ford will abandon fashion creations.

Recalling that in November the sale of the brand to the beauty company Estée Lauder was announced, which in turn licensed the Tom Ford name to Ermenegildo Zegna. The Italian company has the right to produce women’s and men’s collections, accessories, underwear and jewelery for 20 years and a 10-year renewal. Beauty products are on behalf of Lauder. The sale was announced for $2.8 billion.
