Young Thais Medeiros, 25, was seen by her daughters for the first time since she was hospitalized, with a severe allergic reaction after inhaling pepper. The visit took place this Sunday 7 and was shared on Thais’ profile on a social network.
“After exactly 80 days, they will visit their mother, we hope this visit will help her have the strength to get out of the situation she is in,” says the newspaper sharing a photo of the two girls.
In a video recorded by her father, one of them says she is going to the hospital to teach her mother to see, walk and talk again. “She became a little girl,” summed up the girl.
According to the latest update from Thais’ mother, Adriana Medeiros, the young woman left the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the end of April. “She has reacted very well to the antibiotics and we are in the room. She is fine, she is breathing without equipment,” she said.
“His pneumonia is getting better, he doesn’t have any discharge,” he added. Adriana also said that the doctors have already started the process of weaning from the drugs. “Thais is energized, she welcomes me very well, she is in demand,” she said.

Thais went into cardiac arrest on February 17, after having an allergic reaction to the smell of pickled pepper. She, who lives in Goiânia, was having lunch at her boyfriend’s house in a neighboring town when she started feeling ill.
The young woman was immediately taken to the hospital, but when she arrived at the scene she passed out. There, the Thais arrived without a pulse and needed eight minutes to revive. The young woman had to go into a medically induced coma.
For the girl’s mother, pepper was a “trigger”, bearing in mind that Thais had already shown symptoms of asthma before the allergic reaction.
