Ingredients:

  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup uncooked rice (tea)
  • 500 g of minced meat
  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley (minced)
  • 1 liter of water
  • 1 medium cabbage
  • 2 whole unpeeled garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Method of preparation:

  1. In a bowl mix the onion, tomato and set aside. Add the raw rice, raw minced meat, salt, pepper and green smelt.
  2. In another saucepan, bring the water to the boil, immerse the cabbage leaves in the water for a few minutes, just to soften them, then drain them.
  3. Place two tablespoons of the meat mixture on each cabbage leaf.
  4. Roll the leaves like a pancake, sealing the ends.
  5. Place in a pan greased with oil, one next to the other, never on top, mix the tomato sauce with the water, season with salt and place the cigars on top until they are covered.
  6. Add the garlic cloves and cook for about 30 minutes over medium heat, without stirring.
  7. Serve immediately.

Ingredients:

  • 1 thickly sliced ​​cabbage
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes (peeled)
  • 300 g of grated white cheese
  • 200 g cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Oregano to sprinkle

Method of preparation:

  1. Place the cabbage slices on a baking tray, sprinkle them with salt and drizzle with a drizzle of oil.
  2. Place in a medium oven, preheated, for 7 minutes.
  3. Remove and, on each slice of cabbage, place a portion of peeled tomato, a portion of grated white cheese and a portion of cherry tomato.
  4. Sprinkle with the oregano and return to the oven for another 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
  5. Pick up and serve later.

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium cabbage
  • Pork loin cut into cubes
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup (tea) stale bread crumbs and finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • half salted bacon
  • 4 chopped carrots
  • 1 small turnip
  • 1 grated onion
  • 1 egg
  • Black pepper to taste
  • salt to taste

Method of preparation:

  1. Place the whole cabbage in a large pot of water.
  2. Bring to a boil and leave to cook for 30 minutes.
  3. Then remove, rinse in cold water and drain.
  4. For the filling, season the loin with garlic, pepper, salt and grated onion.
  5. Add the breadcrumbs, beaten egg, parsley and mix well.
  6. Open the large cabbage leaves, laying them on top of each other (keep the smaller leaves aside).
  7. Spread the filling on top and roll up carefully, giving the shape of a long loaf.
  8. Then, tie it up with string.
  9. In the same pan where you prepared the filling, add 3 liters of cold water and the bacon.
  10. Bring to the boil for 20 minutes.
  11. Then add the greens, stuffed cabbage and bell pepper.
  12. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
  13. Add the rest of the cabbage cut into strips and cook for another 30 minutes.
  14. Reserve the cooking broth.
  15. Arrange the roll with the sliced ​​bacon on a serving plate.
  16. Around it, arrange the drained vegetables.
  17. Serve with tomato sauce as an appetizer.

  • 2 eggs
  • salt to taste
  • 2 cups wheat flour (tea)
  • 1/2 cup oats (thin flakes)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder (chemical)
  • Tomato sauce of your choice to taste
  • Grated Parmesan for dusting

Filling

  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 500 g of minced meat
  • 2 cups cabbage (chopped)
  • 3 crushed garlic cloves
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup olives (chopped)

Method of preparation:

  1. For the filling, put the olive oil and the meat in a pan and brown over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it is no longer raw.
  2. Add the cabbage, garlic, onion, tomato, beef stock, salt, pepper, olives and saute, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is soft.
  3. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. In the blender, beat the milk, oil, eggs, salt, flour, oats and baking powder.
  5. Fry in small portions, in a non-stick pan, over medium heat, on both sides, until lightly browned.
  6. After frying all the dough, divide the filling between them and roll them up like rocamboli.
  7. Place in the refractory, cover with the sauce of your choice, sprinkle with Parmesan and serve, garnish as desired.
