Hot chocolate with whipped cream

Preparation time: 20min

Performance: 8 portions

Difficulty level: easy

Ingredients:

  • 1 liter of milk
  • 4 tablespoons of cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cups (tea) condensed milk
  • 1 and 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 4 tablespoons of water
  • 2 cups cream (fresh milk)
  • Chocolate chips to taste (optional)

Chantilly

  • 8 cups fresh cream (cold)
  • 8 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of vanilla essence

Method of preparation:

  1. In a deep pan, mix the milk with the chocolate and the condensed milk
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat and, when it starts to boil, add the cornflour dissolved in the water.
  3. Meanwhile, stir until thickened.
  4. Turn off and then stir in the slightly warmed cream.
