the paulistano Guglielmo Gonella, 21, has gone from footballer to international supermodel. And now he has been chosen by Versace to star in the brand’s new global campaign, alongside Dua Lipa.
Guilherme is one of the highlights of “La Vacanza”, the long-awaited collection created in collaboration between the British singer and the brand led by Donatella Versace. The model was also the only Brazilian chosen to be part of the show held by the brand this week in Cannes, France.
Guilherme Gonella dedicated himself to a football career, until he emerged in fashion, between the episodes of WAY Model, by Anderson Baumgartner – the same manager of tops such as Carol Trentini, Alessandra Ambrósio and Marlon Teixeira.
Since 2010, the youngster has started acting as a professional striker, with passes to clubs such as São Caetano, São Bernardo, São Paulo, Portuguesa, União Barbarense and Barcelona da Capela. In the modality, he also competed for the Série B, as well as having won several titles, including the state, metropolitan and São Paulo championships, adding eight artillery trophies.

In 2013 William (pictured top left) she began combining sports with acting as a model as a child, doing commercials since she was 11 years old. She has recently emerged into the market where she collects shows at São Paulo Fashion Week, fashion campaigns and editorials in magazines such as Vogue Teen.

The collection was presented at Castle of the Croix des Gardens, in a pink neoclassical style, with a view of Cannes and the Lérins islands. Colors such as pink, blue and polka dot prints mixed with butterflies on a black background also marked the collaboration between Dua Lipa and Donatella.
