What does it mean to be a successful person? And how to become? Everyone puts something of their own into this concept, but in general, these are people who have achieved financial well-being and/or realized their cherished dream. Personal growth experts believe that many fail in life not because they lack “hard” abilities (such as technical knowledge), but because they lack “soft” abilities. These are the ones worth talking about!
1. Turn negativity into positive and failures into opportunities
Let’s be honest, nobody likes difficult and unpleasant situations. We instinctively try to avoid pain and enjoy, but what if we saw problems and bad situations as opportunities? You do not need to forget the failure as quickly as possible: study why it happened, draw conclusions and continue to act differently.
2. Cooperation
A lot of people see their peers and other departments (who do pretty much the same thing) as rivals, and that’s rarely helpful. Successful people create a positive atmosphere around them, they believe that if the wind blows the sails, then all ships can sail. Simply put, people help each other and everyone benefits: if you add up strengths and abilities, the advantages will outweigh the competition. Gathering and working together is better, especially if everyone benefits.
3. Discipline and consistency
Achieving success usually takes many years and it is important to stick to the right course of action. Steve Jobs once said that 50% of what separates successful people from unsuccessful people is sheer persistence. It seems obvious, but in practice not everyone remembers it.

Our brain is capable of automating processes. For example, when learning to drive a car, at some point actions are brought to automatism, and you can calmly talk with passengers or listen to music, without frantically clinging to the steering wheel. So, once you have developed good habits, you can follow them without any problem.
4. They are not afraid to make mistakes.
Many top business leaders admit that they did the wrong thing, chose the wrong options – but they were successful in the end. Most people are afraid of making mistakes, so much so that sometimes they don’t even try to do something! It is not necessary to strive to make mistakes, but remember that all actions have consequences and mistakes do not always lead to failure.
5. Take care of yourself
If you don’t get enough sleep, it is more difficult to work: you have low energy, you feel tired and your enthusiasm fades. If this condition is catching up with you more and more often, take the time to rest, to recharge your batteries… and to create useful rituals so that the brain and the body do not overwork themselves. Sports, yoga, hobbies – anything, as long as there is enough energy for achievements and fatigue does not set you back. It is enough to take the first step – and then it will be easier.
