The 55th edition of SPFW, which concludes this Sunday (28), was very hot this Friday (26) with celebrities in the audience, on the catwalk and even barred at the entrance to the show, as happened to Paola Carosella. The fashion event follows the necessary tone of diversity, taking clothes for all genders, bodies and races.
There was also a health message, with José Loreto showing off his diabetes sensor on his butt at The Paradise show. And transgender people also passed on the catwalks of the eight shows of the day, such as the deputy Erika Hilton, at LED; plus size models, such as Letticia Munniz and Rita Carreira, from various brands; as well as blacks, indigenous peoples, albinos and people with vitiligo in the shows, proving that fashion is part of everyone’s daily life, regardless of size or skin colour.
In the audience, celebrities such as Gkay, who focused on invisible make-up, Bianca Rosa alongside the trans model Sam Porto (who kissed in a recent campaign), Fernanda Keulla, Sarah Andrade, Bruna Griphao accompanied the fashion shows, divide into Senac Lapa Faustolo, Shopping Iguatemi and Komplexo Tempo.
Chef Paola Carosella went to the event at the Mooca space, together with her boyfriend Manoel Sa, but was unable to enter because she was less than 15 minutes late. The Êxodos collection marks the start of the brand’s 10th anniversary celebrations. To do so, she mixes fabrics like jeans, serge and sequins with her knits and crochet hooks, which are always beautiful. And he also created looks with the word Tesão, a drink he created in collaboration with the Lambe Lambe brewery, used as a crop by a model in a crochet swimsuit. Bahian stylists Hisan Silva and Pedro Batalha, of the Dendezeiro brand, continue with their work called “Cor de Pele”, which researches the various nuances of tones in Brazil, transporting them in the tones of the raw materials they use in their clothes. Sustainability has come to the fore with repurposed materials and a degradable bioplastic fabric.

With the presence of GKay in the audience, who wore a golden pleated dress of the brand, Apartamento 03 showed a beautiful collection of pieces that delve into the techniques of the studio, with folds, transparencies and fabric applications, in tones ranging from black to off-white, through wine, green, blue and metallic.
In the prints, drawings in deep tones, inspired by the paintings of the painter Estevão Roberto Silva, the first black artist trained at the Imperial Academy of Fine Arts in Rio de Janeiro in the 19th century, but with very few records in the history of Brazilian art. The collection is called Silva, from the surname of the painter and stylist. “SILVA is about the passage of time, resistance and construction, symbolic permanence,” summarizes the brand’s advertising material.
Ronaldo Silvestre
The designer Ronaldo Silvestre showed a collection made by Fábrica Social ITI – Equality Transformation and Social Innovation. It is an institute that deals with the reuse of the textile industry and works with about 120 women welcomed and trained through the initiative.
The theme of the show was “Future of the Present” and there were 25 looks, with organic shapes and made with reused materials. The prints are hand painted by the children of the Sustainable Growing project. Also noteworthy are the papetes, shoes that have invaded the catwalks.
Raphael Caetano
Newcomer Rafael Caetano presented the New Dandi collection, inspired by Dandyism, the movement that emerged in England in the 18th century, also showing a man who dedicated his life to fashion and dressing.
In 19 looks, the designer showed pieces of excellent tailoring, such as elongated and loose jackets, trousers and shorts with built-in pockets. Geometric, checkered or polka dot prints, but also two-tone garments. Colors like black, pink, lemon balm, red.
