Preta revealed earlier this year that she had discovered bowel cancer and has been in treatment ever since. This week she had her last radiation therapy and, therefore, Ivete brought her into her threesome.
At one point Gilberto Gil’s daughter – singer who revealed his 25-year marriage to Flora – received the global microphone and sang the hit ‘Signs of Fire’. Excited, midway through the song, while being encouraged by Ivete, Preta cries. “I can still sing,” said the artist.
Another emotional moment was that of Priscila Alcântara, singer who became more related to the Baiana after winning the first The Masked Singer Brasil – was the special guest of Ivete’s show and was moved when she sang for Preta Gil.
