The project was also inspired by the Japanese philosophical ideal of wabisabi, which values imperfection and the effect of time on surfaces and pieces. In this sense, the architect used sustainable materials of rustic and transitory characteristics, such as e.g disposal of wood chips in the external structure, cumaru bridge, banana leaves, unfinished earthenware flooras well as natural textures, earthy tones, and intentional minimalist elements that stimulate the senses.
