  • 400ml of water
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 cloves from India
  • 1 5cm piece of ginger, sliced
  • Peel of an orange-lime
  • Zest of 01 Sicilian lemon
  • 500 ml of organic grape juice
  • 200ml of apple juice

Combine all the ingredients, bring to the boil and cook covered over low heat for about 15 minutes. Pass through a sieve and serve hot.

You can change the proportion of water and juice as you like.

Quento recipe with alcohol

  • Instead of juices, use 700 ml of aged organic cachaça.
  • Or add one part red wine (500ml) to one part cachaça (200ml).
