quentao of cachaça
ingredients
- 3 cups of cachaça tea
- 2 teacups of water
- 2 1/2 teacups of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of grated ginger
- two lemons sliced
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 tablespoon of cloves
Method of preparation
In a pan, put the sugar, ginger, cinnamon and cloves and cook over medium heat until caramelised, stirring occasionally. Turn off the heat, add the lemon and, little by little, the water. Mix well, add the cachaça, and return the pan to medium heat until bubbly. Then cook for 25 minutes. Serve immediately.
Quentao without alcohol
ingredients
- 500g of ginger sliced
- 1 kg of sugar
- 3 liters of water
- 3 liters of grape juice
- 3 tablespoons of cloves
- 5 cinnamon sticks
- 6 sliced orange peels
Method of preparation
Put the ginger and sugar in a pan and cook over medium heat until the sugar is golden brown. Add the water, mix well and cook for 15 minutes. Add the grape juice, cloves and cinnamon and cook for another 20 minutes. Finally put the orange peels and let it boil for 15 minutes. Turn off the heat and serve immediately.
mulled wine with orange
ingredients
- 2 liters of dry red wine
- 250ml of water
- 250ml of liquor
- 2 teacups of sugar
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 10 cloves
- 50 g of ginger cut into slices
- 1 orange, peeled and cut into rings
Method of preparation
Put all the ingredients in a pan and cook over medium heat until it boils. Next, cook the cheese for 10 minutes. Turn off the heat, cover the pan and leave for another 10 minutes. Serve immediately.
