Farofa De Couscous
Time: 15 minutes
Performance: 6 portions
Difficulty: easy
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup olive oil (tea)
- 1 grated onion
- 1 chopped green pepper
- 1 cup tomato (chopped)
- 2 cubes of chicken broth
- 1/2 cup (tea) water
- 1/2 cup parsley (chopped)
- 2 large cans of sardines (500 g)
- 2 cups cornmeal (flakes)
- 4 hard-boiled and chopped eggs
Method of preparation:
- In a pan, over medium heat, heat the oil and saute the onion.
- Add the peppers, tomatoes, chicken stock and water and bring to a boil for 5 minutes.
- Then add the parsley and sardines.
- Wait for it to boil again and turn off the heat.
- Gradually, stir in the cornmeal until it becomes a farofa.
- Finally put the eggs.
- Serve immediately.
