Farofa De Couscous

Time: 15 minutes

Performance: 6 portions

Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup olive oil (tea)
  • 1 grated onion
  • 1 chopped green pepper
  • 1 cup tomato (chopped)
  • 2 cubes of chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup (tea) water
  • 1/2 cup parsley (chopped)
  • 2 large cans of sardines (500 g)
  • 2 cups cornmeal (flakes)
  • 4 hard-boiled and chopped eggs

Method of preparation:

  1. In a pan, over medium heat, heat the oil and saute the onion.
  2. Add the peppers, tomatoes, chicken stock and water and bring to a boil for 5 minutes.
  3. Then add the parsley and sardines.
  4. Wait for it to boil again and turn off the heat.
  5. Gradually, stir in the cornmeal until it becomes a farofa.
  6. Finally put the eggs.
  7. Serve immediately.
