Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi has announced that he will be taking a break from his touring schedule due to his Tourette syndrome. The statement was released on Tuesday (6/27) by the 26-year-old singer on social media. In recent months, the artist has encountered difficulties in completing the presentations due to his health conditions.

“While this probably won’t come as a surprise, it doesn’t make writing any easier, but I’m sorry to inform you that I will be taking a break from touring for the foreseeable future,” she wrote on Instagram. “I was enjoying every second of these shows and hoped that three weeks off would fix everything.”

On Saturday (24/6), the singer lost his voice during the Glastonbury Festival in the UK and received help from fans to finish performing the song “Someone You Loved”.
