The brand will present the collection between 7 and 11 July in Valle D’Itria
The Italian brand Dolce & Gabbana will present, starting this Friday (7), its haute couture collection in Valle D’Itria, in the Puglia region of southern Italy.
The Maison has chosen some places on the Murgese plateau to frame the creations of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana in continuous dialogue with the precious local manufacturing and artistic heritage, as well as with the most authentic popular tradition.
In all, two provinces – Bari and Brindisi -, three municipalities – Alberobello, Ostuni and Fasano -, and 10 localities are involved in the events that are part of the new stage of the Grand Tour of Italy, which Dolce & Gabbana has held since 2012, the year of the presentation of the first Alta Moda collection in Taormina.
The expectation is that the events will see the participation of over 500 guests from 35 countries, 65 journalists from the national and international press, for a total of 650 people.
The initiative, which will last until 11 July, will begin with a welcome cocktail in Borgo Egnzia. Saturday (8), at Spazio Ulivi Pettolecchia, presentation of the High Jewelery creations.
The most awaited appointments will take place on Sunday (9) and Monday (10): the haute couture collections for women and men respectively in Alberobello and Ostuni.
Finally, on Tuesday (11th), the commemorative party will take place at the Hotel Masseria San Domenico, in the municipality of Fasano.

Puglia has been a land of great inspiration for its history. We think of olive trees, centuries-old history, there are very strong roots,” said Alfonso Dolce, CEO of Dolce & Gabbana at a press conference.
According to the manager, the brand “chose Puglia to carry on the excellence of Italian craftsmanship through the creative tip of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana”.
“This territory is rich in history, culture, experiences, sacrifices and art. We have several Apulian collaborators. An industrious territory that looks to the future with ethics and dignity”, added Alfonso.
For the governor of the region, Michele Emiliano, the Italian luxury brand “will raise the name of Puglia in the world and will do so under the banner of beauty expressed in its most evocative forms”.
The politician also reiterated that Domenico Dolce and Stafano Gabbana, together with their team, are committed to enhancing the artistic, architectural and landscape heritage of Puglia.
