About to release her first album, the actress and singer Maya Neiva he threw himself headlong into a journey back to his roots. This is, after all, the theme addressed throughout the album which reaches the public in August.

To represent the new era, she invested in a change in her look: she changed her red hair to a light brown. “All of this research I did for the album is related to going back to my Northeastern and Latin American roots, but I’m also a woman of the world, right? I’ve lived in New York, California and Latin America… So , having my original hair root and ends in connection with the modern and with the world reflects a lot on the moment I’m living. I loved the result so much!”, He advanced in an exclusive interview with Earth.

Leading the change was Ricky Moica, celebrity hairstylist and Wella Professionals ambassador. He told step by step to achieve the color desired by Mayana, with the help of Koleston Perfect products.

“It has allowed me to transform Mayana from a bright redhead straight back to her roots, to more natural looking hair. Most importantly, it offers flexibility to work through the diversity of shades available in the portfolio, delivering color intensity and shine in a stunning way,” she indicates.

For Mayana, the result couldn’t be better. The artist celebrated the return to natural tone, but with a modern edge, and reflected on how this change affects self-esteem.

“It is a combination of self-confidence, ethics, peace and the belief that you can achieve everything you want and dream of, struggling to move in the direction you believe in. The inside reflects on the inside. When I am changing internally , I always need changes even outwardly, and I think for me and for some women hair is an automatic reflection of that, right? How we feel about a change in life,” she points out.
