Floral prints, deconstructed tailoring and mock jeans were part of the haute couture week; see other trends

The haute couture fashion week, which took place from July 3 to 6, in Paris, France, saw the participation of 32 brands who presented the trends for the spring-summer 2024 season.

So that you can stay up to date with everything that’s been happening, the fashionista and digital influencer Jess, who hosted the Fashion TV during SPFW, brings some of the highlights from the fashion shows. Check it out below:

floral prints

Paris haute couture fashion week presented several versions of compositions by I wait that they had a garment with a floral print, something that has everything to do with the lightness of spring and summer. “It’s something to look out for and maybe integrate into our style as well,” says Jess.

tailoring

This year, tailoring has appeared even more Cold and detailed, says the specialist. “Thom Browne made his Fashion Week debut and showed us that tailoring will continue to be around, even if it’s been a darling for several seasons.”

Accessories

The brands have also invested in many accessories, from the most discreet, such as hair bands, to earrings that border on maximalism. “We can say that, whenever possible, including an accessory will add even more charm to ours I wait“, says the influencer.

High heels have been left aside by some brands, such as Valentino and Christian Dior, who have opted for sneakers and sandals apartments. So we might see him around a lot less next season, second fashionista.

Valentino also took the jeans for the haute couture fashion week runways, but in a different way. The brand presented silk garments embroidered with more than 80 shades of indigo, which made it identical to the fabric, being called by some “fake jeans“.

Here, some brands aim for sober tones, with graphic eyeliner, black pencil on the waterline, dark-toned lipstick and different sizes of eyelashes. Wet-look strands also appeared in some fashion shows.
