On a flight from Los Angeles to New York, USA, a passenger surprised the crew and the internet. It was a large Great Dane dog that occupied three seats on the plane.

the American Gabriel Bogner, 27, is the guardian of the animal shown in the video, originally posted on his TikTok. Gabriel explained that his pet is his female Darwin, does not fit into the largest airline shipping box. Therefore, the dog had to ride on benches like an ordinary passenger.

Animals of the Darwin breed can be up to 90 cm tall and weigh up to 90 kg.

Bogner lives with Crohn’s disease, an inflammatory bowel disease that leaves him suffering most of the time. As an aid, he has Darwin, his support dog, who is his constant companion.

In a video posted on TikTok, Gabriel clarified the doubts and some criticisms of internet users. Of the crew and people at the airport, he said “everyone was very excited to see her. I’ve never seen so many people smiling at an airport,” the tutor said. The video also shows the dog “greeting” the pilot and co-pilot of the flight.

“It was his first time flying,” Gabriel said. “There were no issues, Darwin was great and the whole team were great. They joked that she got an upgrade and I didn’t, but it was a very smooth journey.”
