White manjar with chocolate sauce

Time: 40min (+4h of fridge)

Performance: 6 portions

Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

  • 7 tablespoons of corn starch
  • 3 1/2 cups (tea) milk
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 glass of coconut milk (200 ml)
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 cup(s) of dried coconut
  • Flakes of milk chocolate to decorate

Syrup

  • 170 g of chopped milk chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1/2 box of cream (100g)

Method of preparation:

  1. In a saucepan, dissolve the cornstarch in the milk
  2. Add the condensed milk, coconut milk, shredded coconut and sugar
  3. Bring to a low boil, stirring until thickened.
  4. Remove from heat and pour into the center of a moistened hole 24 cm in diameter.
  5. Refrigerate for 4 hours
  6. Meanwhile, for the syrup, melt the chocolate and butter in a bain-marie and then mix with the cream until smooth.
  7. Unmold the manjar onto a large plate, cover with the syrup, decorate with chocolate chips and serve immediately.
