The young British singer-songwriter Faye Fantarrow died at his home on Saturday, aged 26, of a rare cancer. The confirmation of the news came through his mother, Pam Fantarrowannounced on the artist’s official social networks.

“There is a huge void in our lives that can never be filled. Our beautiful, compassionate, intelligent and immensely talented girl is gone,” Pam wrote. “Faye fought with a strength and courage that kept her close to those she loved so dearly and who loved her beyond compare.”

Second expiration, the singer was diagnosed with glioma, a rare and aggressive brain tumor, in August 2022, and battled the disease while producing her debut EP, ‘AWOL’. The artist had already defeated leukemia on two occasions during her childhood, at the ages of 8 and 13.

Originally from Sunderland, England, Faye showed an undeniable passion and talent for music from an early age. Her career gained prominence when she began collaborating with Dave Stewart, renowned music producer and co-founder of Eurythmics, an influential British synth-pop band formed in 1980. Also originally from Sunderland, Stewart has played a key role as mentor and producer for Fantarrow, helping shape her and hone her talent.
