Technology plays a vital role in the advancement of dentistry in the country, driving significant improvements in dental care, procedural efficiency and patient experience. Recently, Oral Sin, a dental implant network in Brazil, developed the use of chatbots and artificial intelligence to improve the patient experience.
The brand’s service via WhatsApp was developed in collaboration with Meta and Gupshup, a conversational engagement platform, and has benefited the more than 30 thousand patients who are seen in the network’s offices monthly.
Furthermore, with the new device for communicating with the public, the number of patients is expected to double by the end of 2023.
“The implementation of the new tool has been so effective that it has not only simplified the management of clinics, but has also improved the patient experience, which now has a 24/7 service through social networks “, explains Luiz Teixeira, CEO of Oral Sin.
Presented at the WhatsApp Business Summit
The result is that the network was the protagonist during the WhatsApp Business Summit 2023, a Meta event that took place in the last week of August, in Sao Paulo, which underlined the importance of WhatsApp as a communication tool, especially in Brazil , a leading country in business monetization through messaging.
“We created a simplified planning path. In less than two months of use, we saw an 180% increase in the number of contacts in the network units. By automating the service, a program that could have taken more than 40 minutes with a human operator has been reduced to 5 minutes and 4 seconds”, adds the executive.
Agenda made by the robot
When the patient contacts Oral Sin to schedule an appointment, the robot automatically creates an appointment in the calendar of the clinic closest to him and sends the reminder to the dentist.
“With this partnership, Oral Sin has begun to offer an innovative approach to dentistry, as we are the only service franchise to offer this technology. Today the brand offers its affiliates and patients a tool that not only simplifies the management of the clinic, but also improves the patient experience, in the exchange of messages which, despite being through artificial intelligence, arrive in a humanized way. And it is possible to clarify doubts such as: what is the reason for the dental implant or what care needs to be taken after the operation, as well as facilitating the setting of appointments”, he concludes.
