During the month of September (nicknamed “Yellow September”), suicide prevention month, we take the opportunity to underline the importance of talking about mental health.

Anyone, during their life, can face a phase of greater vulnerability. And it is important for us to know that help is there, that there is no need to be ashamed and that suffering is not weakness. It may seem like your pain is forever, but it never is.

If you’re not feeling well, find someone who can help you and talk about how you feel.

There are some really cool services you can count on if you need help. One of these is the CVV (Centre for the Valorization of Life), which you can access by calling 188 or via the website (cvv.org.br). There is also a chat that can be used to connect with someone.

Another site that offers this type of service is Mapa da Saúde Mental (mapasaudemental.com.br), with several help options.

If you have any questions or comments, please submit them via the website Doutorjairo.com.br or on my Instagram (@jairoboueroficial).
