Cornbread with dulce de leche

Ingredients:
- 2 cups milk (tea)
- 1 can drained green corn
- 1/2 cup (tea) oil
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon fennel
- 1 cup and 1/2 cup (tea) wheat flour
- 2 1/2 cups (tea) cornmeal
- 3 eggs
Milk cream
- 1 liter of type C milk
- 500 g of sugar
- 1 clove
Preparation method:
- For the dulce de leche, put the milk, sugar and cloves in a large pan and mix
- Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until it thickens and forms a paste-like consistency.
- Remove from heat and reserve on a plate
- Meanwhile, for the cornbread, blend the milk, corn, oil, sugar, salt and fennel in a blender until smooth.
- Pour into a pan and then heat over medium heat, stirring until boiling.
- Add the flour and cornmeal all at once, mixing well until it thickens and comes away from the bottom of the pan.
- Remove from the heat, leave to cool and mix the eggs, one by one, until a smooth mixture is formed.
- Form the dough into balls and place them next to each other in a large greased baking tray.
- Bake in a preheated medium oven for 20 minutes or until lightly browned
- Remove from the oven and then serve with dulce de leche.
